Ceritas
Ceritas’ first vintage was in 2005. A small collective team, led by founder, John Raytek, can draw a map of the northern California coastal regions, including West Sonoma Coast, Santa Cruz Mountains, Moon Mountain, and Napa.
Ceritas wines are of time and place sourced from unique sites not shared by many or anyone. We hope to be creators in a legacy that will serve our generation and generations to come. While we favor minimal intervention in the cellar, we subscribe to methods that have proven best for expressing site through varietal.
Our winemaking is flexible rather than dogmatic, inspired by traditional winemaking, allowing the voice of the land and season to shine rather than the effects of human cellar techniques.
