Lady of the Sunshine
Gina Giugni is a second generation biodynamic farmer and winemaker. Gina started Lady of the Sunshine in 2017, with a focus on regenerative, organic, and biodynamic farming in pursuit of making natural wines that reflect the purity of the place they come from.
I. Brand & Family
We did not set out to make these wines. We discovered great vineyards at the edge of sensible farming and decided to brin to light.
Scribe Winery
Scribe Winery in Sonoma, CA produces vibrant, terroir-driven wines. The winery – founded in 2007 on a property that pioneered pre-prohibition Sonoma Valley winemaking – is managed by fourth-generation California farmers and brothers, Andrew and Adam Mariani.
Reeve Wines
Small-production wines crafted from fruit grown on our estate and sourced from some of the most coveted vineyards in Northern California.
Cobb Wines
Cobb Wines produces exceptional and classic pinot noir wines reflecting the climate and soils of our coastal Sonoma County vineyards in Northern California.
Limerick Lane
Limerick Lane is a 30-acre estate located in the north east corner of Sonoma County’s Russian River Valley. In an appellation that’s renowned for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, we grow and produce world class Zinfandel wines and Rhone-style wines.
White Rock Vineyards
A 35-acre naturally farmed vineyard, boasting a unique terroir of white volcanic ash, nestled in a small valley at the base of the Stag’s Leap Range.
Purlieu Winery
Purlieu — “the edge of the forest” or “an outlying area” — is a reference to our home base in the new Coombsville AVA, at the edge of the forest and the Napa Valley.
Promontory
The Promontory winery sits among the western hills of Oakville, overlooking the Napa Valley. In the early 1980s while hiking along Oakville’s southwestern ridge, H. William Harlan discovered an isolated territory. The hidden expanse—ancient and untamed—moved him deeply, but remained elusive until the Harlan family finally captured it in 2008.
Matthiasson
For Steve & Jill Matthiason, winemaking is a natural extension of farming. We have both worked for many years in the sustainable agriculture and local food movement, and in 2003 we started Matthiasson Wines based on those values. Our wines are classical expressions of different grape varieties, some well-known like Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, and some rare like Ribolla Gialla and Refosco. The wines are refreshing, complement food, and are moderate in alcohol.
Kongsgaard
Fifth-generation Napa natives, Maggy and John began their endeavor in the 1970s planting The Judge vineyard on the Kongsgaard family land near Napa. The inaugural Kongsgaard wines came in 1996.
Ferdinand Wines
In the fall of 2006 Evan Frazier flew to France for his first harvest. I spent the next few months working in the small Roussillon village of Maury picking grapes, hauling boxes, processing fruit, and learning cellar work. The experience I had there with old vines, steep schist slopes, and of getting (literally) up to my elbows in fermentations, convinced me to move to Napa upon my return where I continued on with an apprenticeship in winemaking.
Ruth Lewandowski
Honest, heartfelt wines made naturally. When grapes are grown not for tonnage but with a healthy, truly whole, finished wine in mind...when one farms in tune with our natural cycles, never fighting against them...when one thinks of soil health as much as fruit quality. Then and only then are we on the path to truly living one of the most cliché phrases in wine today: "wine is made in the vineyard.”
Martha Stoumen Wines
Martha Stoumen Wines was founded upon the desire to recapture a farming and winemaking culture that has all but faded away: a winemaking culture of patience.
Jolie-Laide
Based in a Sebastopol, CA, Jolie-Laide is a tiny, hands on (and feet) operation making distinct and fascinating wines. Founded originally by Scott Schultz, and later joined by partner Jenny Schultz, the winemaking method is simple: grapes are left whole cluster, foot crushed, and aged in neutral oak with a focus on French varieties. The approach is a natural one, a less is more ethos.
Jaimee Motley Wines
Jaimee Motley was born and raised in Annapolis, Maryland within the walls of her family’s restaurant. After moving to San Francisco, it was her time working in restaurants, tasting, and reading about wine, that her passion was officially ignited.
